Hello! I'm Crystal, aka darkly dreaming. I'm 34 and live in the Midwestern USA. I've been back into PSP since November of 2010. Prior to that I tried PSP for about a year back in 2005 or 2006. I've just recently begun trying my hand at tutorials. If you try one of my tuts and would like to show me what you made, please email me at darklydreaming33@hotmail.com. Happy Tagging!

This tutorial was written by me on 12/22/11.
Any resemblance to other tutorials is a coincidence.

19) Delete Original Word Art Layer.
20) Select Word Art Back Layer, Select All, Float, Defloat. Add New Raster Layer, flood fill with white. Apply our bright noise settings. Then Apply Eye Candy Gradient Glow with Settings 5, 0, 100, Medium, Black.
21) Delete original Word Art Back Layer.
22) Link our New Word Art and Work Back layers together. Click on each layer one by one and then click the tick inside the link box so they're both at 1.
23) Arrange word art along the bottom of the tag.
24) Open your main tube. Copy and paste as new layer.  Duplicate. On top layer apply Xero, Porcelain. Change blend mode to Soft Light and lower opacity to 71. On bottom layer, add drop shadow of choice.
25) Open Snowglobe. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as new layer under our word art layers. Sharpen then add drop shadow.
26) Open Tree. Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as new layer under our word art layers. Arrange at the right side of tag. Add drop shadow.
27) Open bow 2. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as new layer. Add drop shadow.
28) Open Snowflake Doodle. Image Flip. Image resize by 70%. Arrange at the top left. Duplicate. Image Mirror. Bring the ends together like mine. Right click on top layer and merge down so they're on the same layer. Add drop shadow. Send layer to bottom.
29) Open string. Resize by 70%. Copy and paste as new layer. Arrange on tag. Add drop shadow. Take eraser tool and erase where the string runs off the edge of the canvas.
30) Resize your tag now to desired size. I resized mine by 88%.
31) Add your copyright info. If you don't want to animate. Add your name and export your .png. (If you're going to make more than 1 tag, just do your copyright info now. That way you can save a blank animated tag and make it easier on yourself to add additional names).

Ok, Let's animate...

32) Hide our main tube layers and Open Snow. Copy and paste as new layer above the "overlay screen ok to delete" layer. Rename layer Snow 1. Duplicate 5 times. Renaming each one as you go Snow 2, etc.
33) Hide all layers, except Snow 1. Drag snow 1 up so that the big snowflake is toward the top of your frame. Click on Snow 2 layer. Image Rotate Left by 45. Then drag up so the big snowflake is a bit below where it is on Snow 1 layer.  Unhide Snow 3 layer now and drag it down a bit so the big snowflake is below where it was on Snow 2 layer (note it's easier to drag and move these snow layers if you lock snow 1 before moving snow 2, and then lock snow 2, etc before 3. Then just remember to unlock them all when we're done positioning snow.) Unhide Snow 4 layer. Image Rotate Left by 45. Then drag it down so the big snowflake is below where it was on Snow 3 layer. Then open snow 5 layer and drag down so the big snowflake is at the bottom of the frame.
34) Click on the "overlay screen ok to delete" layer. Select All, Float, Defloat, selections invert. Then one by one, click on each of our snow layers and press delete. Select none when done.
35) Repeat Step 32 but paste just above our snow globe element. Renaming each of the 5 layers, Snowglobe1, etc.
36) Repeat Steps 33 on the snowglobe layers. Just make sure to move and rotate your snow so that it'll look like it's falling.
37) Select our selection tool, selection type circle and draw a circle over our snow globe area. Selections Invert. One by one, click on the snowglobe snow layers and hit delete. Selecte none when finished.
38) Rename our tree layer, tree 1. Duplicate 4 times. Renaming each tree 2, tree 3 etc. Close all layers except tree1. Apply Xenofex 2, Constellation with settings A few small stars, keep original image marked, and edge star density at 6. (leave other settings how they come up). Then open tree 2, apply constellation, but hit random seed. Do this choosing a new random seed for all remaining layers.
39) Keep our main tubes hidden for now. Close off all layers except layer 1 for the Snow, Snowglobe, and Tree. Edit, copy special, copy merged. Paste as new animation in animation shop.
40) Back in PSP, hide layers 1, and open all layers 2. Edit copy special, copy merged, paste after current frame in animation shop. Repeat until you have 5 frames in animation shop.
41) Back in PSP. hide everything except our main tube layers. Edit copy special, copy merged. Paste as new animation in animation shop. Right click and choose insert frame, empty, 4, 2. So now you have 5 frames of our tube. Ctrl A to select all frames. then click on our tag animation. Ctrl A to select all frames there too. Then drag from frame 1 of our tubes animation to frame 1 of our tag, and place the tube in place. This should copy her onto all 5 tag frames.
42) Ctrl A to select all frames on our animation. Animation properties, opaque, choose color of your choice. I picked white. (otherwise since we used a mask, you'll get build up behind it).
43) All frames still selected, Animation, Frame properties, 30. View animation. If happy, save as a .mng if you're going to be adding your name and others. If you already added your name, export your .gif.
44) If you need to add a name, go back to the tag in PSP. Add your name as you normally would. Then when happy with it, copy just that layer and come into Animation shop. Paste as a new image. Right click and Insert Frames from Empty 4, 2. So your name should have 5 frames as well. Then Select All frames on your name, and All frames on your tag, make sure you're on frame 1 of each, and drag from frame 1 of your name to where you want it on frame 1 of your tag. View animation and if happy, save your .gif.

Thanks for trying my tut!
